"A few years ago I was working on a photo essay for the Vineyard Gazette of lambing season on the Island. This particularly adorable newborn was at Flat Point Farm in West Tisbury. It was early morning when I arrived. For what seemed like no longer than a split second, all of the lambs and sheep looked up in unison to see the newcomer aproaching their pen. In that moment I took this picture, and then they all went back to munching, frolicking and snoozing."
