purchasing fine art prints
Color Prints
Alison's newer color work is printed as Giclée prints, using archival inks on
high-quality heavy watercolor paper. Earlier color images are printed as Ilfochromes,
which are museum-quality, traditional glossy photographic prints. Both processes are
considered to produce the most stable color prints. All color prints are signed and
titled by Alison, then mounted and matted with bright white 8-ply archival matboard.
Prints can be purchased matted only, or matted and framed and come in a variety of sizes.
Please call us for information regarding size options.
Black-and-White Prints
Call us for information regarding purchasing any of Alison's black-and-white prints.
These images will be displayed on our website soon.
Mat and Frame Styles
Color prints are matted using 8-ply archival bright white matboard. They are framed
with a simple, square-edge matte black wood frame. The front face of the frame is 3/4" wide and 1" in depth.
Limited Editions
Nearly all of Alison’s color prints are done as limited editions. These editions run in
size from 20 to 150 prints. As an image goes higher in edition number and therefore closer to running out,
there is a corresponding increase in price. Please contact us to find out edition size, current edition
number, and price of any particular image.
