I was invited to photograph the Farm Neck Golf Club member’s book twice – once in color and once in black and white. My challenge was to make photos that showcased the eighteen holes, numerous vistas, the clubhouse, and the tennis courts, and to do it in a way that reflected my own photographic style.

I was given complete access to the course, including a key to the golf carts, so I could capture the light at any hour of the day. When the weather conditions were particularly beautiful, I dropped everything to grab my cart and shoot. Even considering my occasional brushes with the early-morning irrigation system, this job was one of my all-time favorites.
