Our fine art prints can be confusing to sort through. There are a lot of proportions to choose from – too many. We know. Alison has been doing this for a long time, and there are things we would change if we could. But we can’t. So… maybe this will help.

We put together a chart of our proportions for limited-edition fine art prints, below. This is an overwhelming amount of information, and totally unnecessary for you to grapple with. We‘re happy to navigate it all for you. That said, if you‘re a designer, architect, or just a numbers-oriented person, this may help you find the right proportion and size for your space.

On the lower left column is a list of keywords that correspond to each proportion. Just look through the list below, figure out which one (or more) would work in your space. Then, click on the corresponding keyword, and you’ll see all the images in that proportions. The “matted” and “framed” measurements assume our standard frame. For shadowbox frame dimensions, go to that page.

We also can make custom prints. Sometimes we can crop an image to fit your space (Alison needs to approve any crops). We also can make custom prints using different processes – these are signed, but not limited editions.

Three of the keywords are about “large” prints. This refers to R4, S4, P3, and larger custom-sized prints, on paper, metal, or canvas. If we haven’t done a large print of an image, we’ll first do print tests in our studio, to confirm that it’s possible. It’s always best to consult us when you’re considering a large print.

We’re happy to work with you. This, hopefully, is a way to start.
